Kenya Kiambu Washed coffee is a single origin special grade coffee beans from Kiambu Nyala region in Kenya. This coffee is washed processed and roasted in medium level. Smooth and fully bodied with red grape, lemonade acidity and flavour of caramel, milk chocolate, lemon and grape.
This coffee is grown just north of Nairobi in Kiambu County at an altitude of around 1640 masl Nyala Estate at one of the oldest coffee farms in the country.
This coffee has almost no taste when brewed as V60 or even turkish. Even when using a ratio of 1:14 which is much stronger then what is recommended by most people the cup tastes like water!
